School: University of Leicester
Course: Law (LLB)
Year: Graduated
Grade: 2:1

Switch Charity is an organisation which is run by Mazino and five others. Founded in 2010, it is based in Portharcourt, Nigeria. The aim of the charity is to host events and in turn use the profits to help those less fortunate from the Niger Delta region. Mazino operates in the role of Events Manager, which requires lots of organisation and public interaction. During her first year Mazino launched her own record label MLK Records and a website to promote it. The label is for up- and-coming artists to promote their work and receive advice. In 2016, she became the content manager and creative director for thenativemag.com magazine, a Nigerian-based lifestyle magazine. In December 2016, she and a few of her colleagues launched an associated festival called Nativeland Festival in Lagos, where Mazino was responsible for managing ticket sales and promoting the event. The event was sponsored by Puma, Red Bull and Samsung and featured performances from the likes of J Hus, Skpeta and Burna Boy.
